Sol, a Florida company that manufactures solar-powered lights, is donating equipment to help the relief effort in Haiti. The company is providing solar-powered lights that can be used in hospitals and help increase the available hours for aid.
Located in Palm City, Sol has been developing commercial solar lighting since 1990. They use the location of where the lights will be used as a determining factor in the type of light- the strong winds and rain in Haiti require the Tropical Storm Light model. You can read more about these at Treehugger and in the NY Times.
